Rung for Women is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join the executive team. You will lead the finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and compliance functions while guiding organizational strategy and growth in a nonprofit setting.

The role oversees the Operations Team and facilities, ensuring resources align with priorities, with a focus on sustainability and mission impact. Strong leadership and governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• MBA or other relevant master's preferred.
• CPA/CMA or other relevant professional certification a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.
• Minimum 5 years in senior leadership leading teams and resources.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, audits and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to the CEO and participate in enterprise planning.
• Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop multi-year financial projections and sustainability models.
• Oversee cash flow, reserves, investments and liquidity strategies.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and oversee audits and tax filings.
• Provide executive oversight of operational systems and infrastructure.
• Manage vendor contracts and procurement strategies.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.
