Job summary

Jewish Silicon Valley is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting for a nonprofit organization in the Bay Area. The role partners with the CEO and senior leaders to drive growth and financial sustainability while ensuring governance and internal controls.

You will oversee audits, investment accounting, and donor-related finance activities, and you will present insights to the Board.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial planning and financial forecasting.
• Knowledge of GAAP and fiduciary guidelines for nonprofits.
• Ability to present cogent financial positions to the CEO and Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Oversee annual forecasting and budgeting for all departments and initiatives.
• Coordinate annual independent audit and consolidate financial statements.
• Lead investment accounting and support committees.
• Present financial position reports to the Board.
