Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead Colorado YMCA finance operations, overseeing accounting, treasury, audits, and financial systems. The role partners with executive leadership to ensure financial health, integrity, and accountability across the organization.

The successful candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost allocation while coordinating with boards and leadership to support strategic growth and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA/CPA/ CMA preferred.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive accounting/financial leadership experience.
• Experience in multi-site nonprofit organizations; YMCA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, cash management, and investments.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Ensure internal controls, compliance, audits, Form 990s, and regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, boards, and committees to support strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain cost allocation and shared services models across associations.
• Build relationships with auditors, bankers, attorneys and other professional partners.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced credential
