Job summary

The Hiring Method, LLC is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team in Denver. The CFO will partner with the CEO to elevate financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

This role leads the finance and accounting functions, builds robust reporting, dashboards, and KPIs, and identifies opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance while guiding long-term growth and capital strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Progressive accounting/finance leadership experience with senior responsibility.
• Strong mix of financial accounting and strategic finance expertise.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
• Proven ability to partner with a CEO and executive team to improve performance.
• Experience building and leading accounting/finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, cash management, banking, and tax coordination.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic financial advisor to the CEO and leadership.
• Lead company-wide strategic planning and major business decisions.
• Oversee finance and accounting functions and ensure timeliness of reporting.
• Strengthen FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to improve executive decisions.
• Partner with ops to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for all leaders.
• Oversee cash management, banking, tax coordination, and controls.
• Guide acquisitions, capital investments, and strategic transactions.
