Job summary

SerpApi, a profitable founder-led technology company headquartered in Austin, TX, seeks a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to build the finance function, oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, reporting, and strategic finance. You will guide capital strategy, growth plans, and long-term planning with the leadership team.

You will lead and develop a small finance team, upgrade systems and controls, and provide executive-level insights to drive capital allocation, pricing, and vendor

Qualifications

• Experience as CFO/VP Finance or equivalent in a high-growth tech environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience with public or private investment including investor relations, debt/equity financing, M&A, or IPO readiness.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear guidance for founders and operators.

Responsibilities

• Own SerpApi’s accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, tax, reporting, and strategic finance functions, including a 3-person team.
• Build scalable financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls for a growing tech company.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, financial modeling, and performance reporting.
• Partner with CEO on capital allocation, pricing, margins, hiring plans, and vendor spend.
