Job summary

Truity Credit Union is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy and performance, reporting to the CEO and the Board. You will shape capital planning, liquidity management, and funding strategies while guiding growth and long-term sustainability.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in financial leadership within a financial institution, with at least 5 years in senior roles overseeing ALM, investments, and risk. Excellent communication and strategic insight are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field is required.
• MBA, CFA or other advanced degree preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership in a financial institution; at least 5 years in a senior role with ALM, investments, liquidity, and capital planning.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to translate financial performance into actionable insights for growth, earnings, capital, liquidity, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Credit Union's financial position and develop funding strategies to support growth.
• Advise CEO and Board of Directors on strategy, earnings, capital, liquidity, and risk.
• Lead ALM, investments, liquidity management, and capital planning.
• Serve as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the CUSO and provide strategic financial leadership.
