Job summary

ADF Engineering in Miamisburg, OH is seeking Head of Finance to lead all finance and accounting, partnering with President and Board to drive growth, profitability, and long-term success. The ideal candidate has deep FP&A, GAAP, and project-based industry experience; ERP proficiency (Deltek Vantagepoint, NetSuite, Unanet, or BQE) and PE-backed M&A exposure are valued.

This is a full-time, on-site role with meaningful equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• Finance leadership at director/VP/CFO level with exposure to full finance function.
• Strong FP&A orientation and strategic partnership mindset.
• Experience with GAAP, financial modeling, and reporting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead all finance and accounting functions for the organization.
• Own monthly close, project accounting, AP/AR, payroll, treasury, and working capital tracking.
• Oversee project accounting, WIP, backlog, job costing, and project profitability.
• Lead FP&A, budgeting, and P&L and cash flow forecasting; surface trends and risks.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration post-close; drive value creation.
