Job summary

Iowa Valley Community College District seeks a strategic CFO who will serve as Vice President of Finance, guiding financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, investments, debt management, and risk oversight. As a core member of the executive team, you will safeguard public resources and support district sustainability.

Reporting to the President, you will lead finance staff, oversee contracts, and partner with facilities planning on major projects while ensuring compliance and sound

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance required.
• Seven to ten years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• CPA, MBA, or master's in accountancy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, purchasing, cash management, grants accounting, and related financial operations.
• Lead annual budgeting and multiyear financial planning, withForecasts and models to support resource allocation.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting to Board and authorities; coordinate annual audit and action plans.
