Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior financial executive role.
Extensive experience in construction, specialty contracting, heavy equipment, or industrial services industries.
Proven ability to lead financial functions including planning, analysis, forecasting, project accounting, and internal controls.
Deep knowledge of job costing, WIP, revenue recognition, backlog, and project margin management.

Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy and planning: Develop multi-year financial plans aligned with company growth objectives, including revenue, profit margins, and investment strategies.
Oversee construction accounting and project financial performance: Ensure accuracy in job costing, WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and project margin analysis.
Drive financial forecasting and budgeting: Manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts, integrating project schedules, labor requirements, and capital investments.
Manage cash flow and working capital: Develop short- and long-term cash forecasts and optimize billing, collections, and liquidity management.
Maintain enterprise risk management: Oversee banking relationships, surety and bonding, and evaluate financing strategies, ensuring sufficient capacity to support operations.
