Job summary

CLA, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, in Nashville, seeks a Chief Financial Officer with 8+ years of accounting experience to join our Client Accounting and Advisory Services team. This is an in-office role with minimal travel, offering collaboration with clients and leadership in financial policy and strategy.

You will lead budgeting, cash flow, audits, and KPI analysis, drive capital planning, and build strong client relationships as part of a national firm.

Qualifications

• 8 years of accounting and/or financial experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of experience and education may be accepted.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage Intacct highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites locally.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFO functions as part of the client's accounting services team.
• Set financial policy and drive overall strategy with clients.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning activities.
• Monitor budgets, KPIs, and financial performance for clients.
• Coordinate audits and ensure proper financial controls.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships and networks.
