Job summary

Levine Music, serving five campuses in the Washington, DC area, seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations and strategy. The CFO partners with the President & CEO, the Board, and the Executive Leadership Team to secure ongoing financial health and sustainability across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive nonprofit finance leadership, fund accounting expertise, and strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial systems such as

Qualifications

• Significant senior financial management experience in nonprofit environments.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fund accounting and governance.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and cash management ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with integrated payroll, fundraising, registration, budgeting, reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial management areas: accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Lead financial planning and decision support for the Executive Leadership Team.
• Ensure internal controls, audit and tax compliance, and system integrity.
• Present financial information to the CEO, Board, and committees and support fundraising.
• Develop and mentor finance staff and collaborate across campuses.
