Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Nonprofit Management preferred.
• CPA license highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, payroll, IT and purchasing functions.
• Prepare budgets for routine operations and grant applications.
• Monitor expenses and revenues for budget adherence.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for the Executive Director.
• Ensure timely billing and collection of receivables.
• Monitor General Ledger accounts for prepaid items and fixed assets.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate system updates for fund accounting.
• Assist in program planning with financial considerations.
• Prepare corrective action plans for audit recommendations and CARF accreditation.
• Ensure DHS policy adherence.
• Review and approve large purchase requests.
• Administer Pathfinder 401k plan and related contracts.
• Collaborate with HR on employee benefits.
