Job summary

Archer is seeking a Certification Operations Manager to partner with the Head of Product Certification, building the operational backbone for the program and leading a small team overseeing FAA and foreign compliance, project records, and metrics.

The role emphasizes translating priorities into action, maintaining dashboards, and driving cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Flight Test, Safety, and Program Management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership, operations, or program management in complex environments.
• Proven track record as a Chief of Staff or senior operations leader driving execution across teams.
• Experience leading a team and developing direct reports.
• Experience building performance dashboards and operating rhythms that drive execution.
• Strong ability to resolve cross-functional barriers and influence without authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and executive presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel between Archer locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic and operational extension of the Head of Product Certification, translating priorities into milestones and outcomes.
• Establish and manage operating rhythms that keep the organization aligned and accountable.
• Maintain visibility into priorities, risks, and decisions, elevating them appropriately.
• Manage a small team responsible for certification program administration.
• Own program metrics and dashboards reflecting real-time status and milestones.
• Manage official communication between Archer and FAA and foreign authorities.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready certification project records and progress reports.
• Identify and remove barriers slowing execution and own cross-functional issues.
• Drive alignment between Product Certification and Engineering, Flight Test, Safety, and PM.
• Prepare executive briefings and track commitments to completion.
