Job summary

Archer is seeking a Senior Staff Technology Controls & Assurance Lead to own policy development, controls governance, and risk quantification across our defense programs. You will interact with DoD assessors and engineering teams to ensure a demonstrable compliance posture and audit readiness.

You will manage internal and external audits, build KRIs, and lead the CSAS program while driving strong executive communications and a data-driven risk culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in information security with at least 4 years in a GRC, compliance, or IS audit-focused role.
• Deep knowledge of NIST SP 800-53/171, CMMC, DFARS/ITAR.
• Proven experience managing SOX ITGC programs and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Archer's IS policy library, standards, and control frameworks grounded in regulatory obligations.
• Own enterprise IS Issue Management from identification to remediation and reporting.
• Design and execute internal Control Self-Assessment programs and coordinate with control owners.
• Serve as IS liaison for internal/external audits and government compliance assessments.
• Own SOX ITGC program and ensure readiness for SOX reporting.
• Build and maintain KRIs with quantitative risk models and AI-enabled analytics.
• Advise on DFARS/ITAR, FAA ASISP requirements, and certification obligations.
• Produce executive risk briefings and board-ready evidence packages.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal to ensure continuous compliance.
