Job summary

Archer, a Silicon Valley–based leader in advanced air mobility, seeks a Certification Operations Manager to translate priorities into action for FAA and foreign authorities. You’ll lead a small team, own program metrics, and drive cross-functional execution to maintain audit-ready records and progress across projects.

The role demands 10+ years of leadership and a track record in establishing operating rhythms, managing milestones, and presenting to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership, operations, or program management in complex, fast-moving orgs.
• Experience as Chief of Staff, senior ops leader, or program/organizational leader driving multi-team execution.
• Experience building performance management systems, dashboards, and operating rhythms.
• Proven ability to resolve cross-functional barriers and influence without direct authority.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic/operational extension of Head of Product Certification, translating priorities into ownership, milestones and outcomes.
• Establish and manage operating rhythms—leadership meetings, milestone reviews, action tracking.
• Maintain visibility into top priorities, risks and decisions at the right time.
• Manage a small team (2 direct reports) responsible for certification program administration.
• Own program metrics and dashboards reflecting real-time certification status and milestones per project.
• Manage official communication between Archer and FAA and applicable foreign cert authorities.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready certification project file records and regular program-progress reporting.
• Identify and remove barriers—process, resource, or communication gaps—that slow execution.
• Drive alignment between Product Certification and partners across Eng, Flight Test, Safety, PM, and other functions.
• Prepare executive-level briefings for the Head of Product Certification and track commitments to completion.
