Job summary

The Centralized Purchasing Manager at Six Flags Corporate oversees purchasing, distribution, and inventory optimization within a centralized procurement team to enhance profitability and supply chain efficiency. You will drive cost reductions, enforce policy, and coordinate with sourcing groups to meet service levels and regulatory standards.

You will manage a team, mentor staff, and ensure accurate PO issuance while tracking supplier performance and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of work-related experience in purchasing, inventory and supply chain
• 3–5 years of supervisory/leadership experience
• Strong computer, analytics and problem-solving skills using MS Excel/Word

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce adherence to P2P agreements and procurement policies
• Partner with End User and Sourcing Teams to drive cost reductions and customer satisfaction
• Lead Centralized Purchasing Team to support buying strategy
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure proper system entry for tracking and timely delivery
• Ensure SOP compliance with company policies, regulations and safety standards
• Analyze purchasing and inventory trends to identify cost savings and forecasting improvements
• Support development of Six Flags Procurement function and train teams on systems and policies
