Entergy is seeking a Central Procurement Specialist III or Sr to manage material and goods purchasing. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, coordinating with business units, Tax, Finance, Risk Management, Safety, Legal and external suppliers.

• Advanced purchasing knowledge and experience in procurement of materials and goods.
• Ability to develop sourcing options and ensure cost efficiency while meeting business needs.
• Experience with purchasing processes, systems, and supplier communications.

Responsabilités

• Promote safety and ensure compliance with procurement standards.
• Handle RFQs, define specifications with stakeholders, and ensure accurate cost and delivery plans.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers to secure competitive offerings and manage supplier relationships.
• Maintain PO issuance, tracking, and expediting when required.
• Deliver cost savings and favorable terms through negotiations and competitive bidding.
