Job summary

Harbor Freight Tools in California is seeking a Supply Chain Central Planning Analyst to support network-wide planning and develop dashboards and reports for senior leaders. You will partner with Analytics & Data Science and work with DC Planning Managers to answer questions and publish insights.

You will analyze data to identify trends, perform ad-hoc analysis to improve efficiency in the distribution center and broader supply chain, and help roll out new sites with hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and a self-starter with investigative talents.
• Ability to design, construct and publish reports for stakeholders.
• Experience analyzing data to inform operational strategy in distribution/supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a network planning platform for short-term workforce and inbound/outbound planning.
• Collaborates with partners and DC leadership to translate central plans for execution.
• Develops and implements dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools to monitor warehouse and supply chain performance.
• Supports Integrated Business Planning (IBP) reconciliation by analyzing cost/benefit tradeoffs.
• Supports rollout and standup of new buildings with hands-on training at new sites.
• Communicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Performs root cause analyses and develops reports to track key metrics.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
