Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or graduate degree or commensurate work experience.
• Typically 3-5 years of work experience in category management, P&L management, or related field.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology.
• Knowledge of analytics and data analysis.
• Knowledge of business development and business strategies.
• Knowledge of Business To Business.
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management.
• Knowledge of Go-to-Market Strategy.
• Knowledge of KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and actively participate in defining category business plans and strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
• Monitor KPIs and sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Apply broad understanding of product categories, business management, and sales challenges/strategies.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
• Translate customer insights into actionable improvements.
• Build relationships and represent the team at a senior level with the sales force and other partners.
• Manage product lines and quotas for a significant share of the product range or a specific customer segment.
• Oversee functional responsibilities including market analysis and marketing engagement.
