Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Category Analyst to analyze business data, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions across the organization. You will collaborate with procurement, operations, and finance to enhance performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

You will develop KPIs, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to leadership, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights. A strategic thinker thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics).
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, procurement, category management, or related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Experience with KPIs, dashboards, performance reporting, and business intelligence tools.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI proficiency; SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Support development and execution of category and business strategies through data-driven recommendations.
• Analyze supplier, operational, and financial performance data to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, finance, and business teams to support objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and report KPIs and dashboards to measure performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Create reports, presentations, and data visualizations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve tools and processes.
• Stay current on industry trends, analytics methodologies, and BI best practices.
