Foodbuy, a Compass Group subsidiary, is seeking a Category Analyst to drive growth and innovation in procurement analytics. You will support category managers with data, supplier programs, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize category development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in supply chain, category, finance, or related field; supplier management experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Sense of urgency, excellent customer service skills and demeanor
• Ability to manage complex competing priorities with strict deadlines and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc analysis, compliance reports, and market trend reviews; manage pricing and rebate databases.
• Support category plans, joint business plans, and presentations for supplier and customer partnerships.
• Lead rollout and communication of new programs or changes adhering to processes and timelines.
• Forecast income by supplier (IBS), perform variance analysis, and track against budget.
• Conduct income analysis and forecast updates; support category income drivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage termsets, MOGs, catalogs, and system needs.
• Identify opportunities related to contract coverage, pricing, and new programs and communicate recommendations.
• Work with suppliers to resolve issues and ensure data accuracy in price releases, catalogs, and mappings.
