Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or BSN with Master's in MPA/MPH/MBA.
• Licensed as a registered nurse with current NY registration.
• Professional certifications CCM, ACM-RN or CMGT-BC preferred.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• Minimum five years of supervisory experience in Case Management and five years as a clinical nurse.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operations within the assigned department and uses data-driven problem solving to improve processes and outcomes.
• Develops, maintains and reconciles departmental budgets with financial oversight.
• Plans, develops and maintains departmental standard operating procedures; reviews and updates policies as needed.
• Maintains professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional networks.
• May provide leadership for junior staff through ongoing training.
