SYGMA seeks a senior leader to manage carrier procurement and LEI logistics, shaping pricing, onboarding, and performance across a national asset‑based network. The role partners with customers, Sales, Operations, and executive leadership to drive margin growth and supply chain excellence.

The position leads a team (up to five specialists) and focuses on cost efficiency, service reliability, and scalable logistics solutions aligned with enterprise growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years in transportation procurement or logistics operations in a national/enterprise setting.
• Experience negotiating carrier contracts, pricing, and capacity solutions.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead carrier sourcing, pricing, onboarding, and performance management.
• Oversee strategic pricing, onboarding and risk management for LEI program.
• Manage a team of Freight Procurement Specialists (up to five).
• Partner with Sysco/SYGMA leadership to drive margin expansion and growth.
• Drive KPI performance: tender acceptance, on‑time pickup/delivery, and cost efficiency.
