Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a Business Manager to lead strategic and operational efforts for the Surgical and Invasive Cardiology service lines. You will partner with clinical and physician leaders to optimize access, throughput, quality, safety, patient experience, and margin.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle, and capital planning, while driving analytics-driven decision-making and cost control across the programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Health Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in hospital/health system operations or finance, with direct exposure to perioperative and/or invasive cardiology operations.
• Demonstrated success in budget management, productivity, cost reduction, and margin improvement.
• Proficiency with EHR and perioperative/cardiology applications (Epic OpTime/Anesthesia/Cupid, Cerner/Oracle equivalents) and financial/analytics tools (Excel/Tableau).
• Strong skills in project management, vendor negotiation, contract review, and capital planning.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and physician partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for financial performance, operational excellence, and growth of Surgical and Invasive Cardiology service lines.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and revenue cycle optimization.
• Oversee productivity management, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and corporate requirements are met across service lines.
• Develop growth strategies and coordinate with marketing/referral teams for market expansion.
