Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Business Manager to lead the financial performance and operational excellence of the Surgical and Invasive Cardiology service lines. You will partner with clinical and physician leaders to optimize access, throughput, quality, safety, patient experience, and margin.

The role oversees budgeting, revenue cycle, and analytics-driven decision-making across both service lines, driving growth strategies and program development while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in hospital/health system operations or finance with perioperative exposure.
• Proven budget management, productivity, cost reduction, and margin improvement.
• Proficiency with EHR and perioperative/cardiology applications (Epic OpTime/Anesthesia/Cupid, Cerner/Oracle).
• Strong project management, vendor negotiation, contract review, and capital planning.
• Excellent communication and physician partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for surgical and invasive cardiology service lines.
• Improve service line margins, case profitability, and expense management.
• Oversee revenue cycle, charge capture, denial prevention/appeals, and payer contract stewardship.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for Joint Commission, CMS, and other bodies.
• Develop growth strategies (robotics, complex EP, structural heart) and physician onboarding.
• Build dashboards and scorecards; translate data into actionable plans.
