Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Transformation Project Manager within its Operations Transformation group to lead project cost, schedule, and documentation on a Strategic Capital Project. You will drive execution, risk management, and reporting; mentor sponsors and Kaizen leaders and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include evaluating opportunities, guiding project direction, and delivering continuous improvement to meet service, quality, and cost objectives while engaging key stakeholders

Qualifications

• 6-10 years business experience, minimum of 1-year LSS experience
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred disciplines: Sciences, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management
• Accredited LSS Green Belt or Kaizen Leader Certification required; PMP preferred
• Financial acumen and ability to assess project return on investment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving, analytical and conflict resolution skills

Responsibilities

• Facilitates analysis of opportunities and risks, and identifies impacts and recommendations to the business or manufacturing site
• Demonstrates leadership in setting and aligning project direction while managing stakeholder relationships and expectations
• Ability to effectively execute (Logistics Software Systems) LSS project management process, tools and templates
• Identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to meet service, quality and cost objectives
• Support and motivate teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects
• Provide training and coaching to sponsors and Kaizen leaders, if needed
