Job summary

The University of Texas System Administration in Austin seeks an executive leader to guide a portfolio of complex capital projects, from planning and design through construction management and contract administration. You will provide strategic direction for OCP campus-based teams and coordinate with campus executives, architects, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 15 years complex project management experience.
• Leadership in large capital programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and management for a program of multiple complex capital projects by providing program and project staffing, resource coordination, communication, conflict resolution, and oversight/quality monitoring at the system level.
• Monitor program budgets and schedules to ensure CIP goals; approve expenditures for consultants, service contracts, and related services.
• Ensure compliance with Board rules, state statutes, federal regulations, and applicable codes and laws.
• Collaborate with campus executives, architects, contractors, and staff to meet program goals and resolve conflicts.
• Stay current in building codes and regulations and drive process improvements for the Capital Program.
• Other duties as assigned.
