We seek a Capital Procurement Manager in Cincinnati to optimize maintenance and energy capital procurement, centralize bidding, and drive enterprise-wide efficiency with a focus on cost savings and supplier performance. Up to 25% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, or comparable related field experience (or equivalent field experience).
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting and data analysis.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage supply chain operations and ensure timely delivery.
• Knowledge of cost-effective procurement practices and inventory management strategies.
• 5 years in the field of capital project management
• Division Project Manager or Regional Project Manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze annual maintenance and energy capital allocations to identify similar projects across divisions that can be bundled for enterprise-wide bidding.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Enterprise Sourcing to develop and execute bidding strategies for capital projects.
• Oversee the bidding process for capital projects, relieving divisional project managers of administrative tasks.
• Facilitate collaboration between divisions and vendors to efficiently schedule projects and optimize resource allocation.
• Evaluate vendor performance and support vendor selection to ensure project success.
• Identify opportunities to leverage shared vendor relationships and best practices across divisions.
• Align capital procurement activities with broader sourcing strategies for operational excellence.
• Maintain contractual oversight and document procurement activities.
• Deliver updates to senior leadership on procurement outcomes and vendor performance.
• Implement best practices in capital procurement and drive process improvements.
• Travel independently up to 25%.
