Job summary

West Fraser’s US Operations Office in Cordova, TN is seeking a finance professional who thrives on capital planning, project controls, and continuous improvement. You will partner with mill operations to manage capital project portfolios, track costs, and provide clear visibility into risks and opportunities.

The role emphasizes reporting automation and analytics using Power BI or similar tools, plus Smartsheet and Oracle EBS.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years in financial analysis, capital planning, project controls, or related discipline.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, internal controls, and capital investment analysis.
Experience with finance, project management, reporting, and analytics tools.
Experience identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

Partner with mill operations leaders to manage capital project portfolios and provide project status visibility.
Collaborate with project managers, procurement, construction, engineering, and planning teams to monitor progress and costs.
Develop and enhance reporting processes; create dashboards and BI solutions.
Drive automation and scalable reporting to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Produce monthly capital reporting packages with analyses and executive summaries.
