Job summary

IRG Realty Advisors, LLC is seeking a Capital & Fixed Assets Manager to lead reporting, forecasting, and control for capital projects and fixed assets across its real estate portfolio. You will partner with accounting, asset management, and ownership groups to deliver timely, decision-ready reports and maintain strong internal controls.

The role emphasizes strengthening reporting packages, documentation, and audit readiness, with a focus on complex data and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience with fixed assets/capital projects.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, depreciation, asset disposals, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities; ability to handle large data sets and provide clear recommendations.
• Experience improving reporting packages, forecasts, procedures, and internal controls under tight deadlines in multi-entity settings.
• Attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and discretion with confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly reporting for capital projects, commitments, funding requests, and actual-to-budget results.
• Consolidate ownership-level reporting and analyze project status, budget performance, and forecast changes.
• Develop rolling forecasts and 3–5 year capital expenditure projections for planning and decisions.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting (additions, transfers, disposals, depreciation, useful lives) and ensure policy compliance.
• Reconcile fixed asset subledger, general ledger, and project records; research discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Property Management, Development, Construction, and Accounting to ensure data consistency.
• Strengthen policies, approvals, controls, and close-cycle processes for accuracy and accountability.
• Support audits and automate reporting workflows; serve as SME for capitalization and asset reporting.
