Job summary

First Citizens Innovation Bank in Denver, San Francisco, and New York seeks a Senior Strategic Capital professional to lead deal structuring and market analysis within the SCG.

You will partner with Relationship Management, Credit, Legal, and external funds to structure venture debt solutions for technology and life sciences clients while balancing risk, returns, and client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years in venture debt or 12+ years with HS.
• Experience with technology and life sciences companies focused on venture debt.
• Advanced knowledge of capital structures, product positioning, evaluating risk and managing changing situations.
• Strong knowledge of equity markets and capital structures, interpreting corporate formation documents and charters.
• Strong structuring and negotiation skills to engage and build trust with clients and investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pursuit, structuring, and positioning of SCG product solutions for screened prospects.
• Drive market expertise within the team, including trends and lending models to scale the group.
• Support the Group Head and coach Directors, VPs and Associates on pipeline and resource allocation.
• Build relationships with venture funds, third party funds, and other ecosystem service providers.
