Job summary

The Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa seeks a Capital Campaign Coordinator to join our Development Team. You will provide administrative support to the CDO and gift officers, manage the campaign plan, and help meet Boundless fundraising goals.

This role involves coordinating donor meetings, volunteer recruitment, moves management, reporting, and ensuring timely gift acknowledgments. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years nonprofit fundraising experience are preferred, with on-site work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years fundraising, campaign, or nonprofit development experience.
• Experience supporting major gifts or capital campaigns preferred.
• Experience with a database and maintaining confidentiality.
• Must be available for occasional evenings and weekends.
• Must pass a Level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the campaign plan, timetable, and defined goals.
• Coordinate meetings, training, cultivation activities, solicitations, and events with major donor prospects.
• Lead regional volunteer recruitment and guide volunteers in donor cultivation methods.
• Staff campaign committees and prepare volunteers for assignments.
• Establish solicitation priorities and manage moves management for donor cultivation.
• Prepare donor briefing memos and coordinate donor meetings and solicitation opportunities.
• Provide regular progress reports to staff and board leadership.
