Job summary

STIIIZY, INC. is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and financial reporting function across a vertically integrated cannabis business.

You will oversee staff, ensure timely monthly closes, and drive process improvements with automation and cross‑functional collaboration. The role requires a CPA and 7–15 years in managerial financial accounting, including multi‑entity operations and inventory accounting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/BBA degree in accounting or related field; MBA or MAcc preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• 7-15 years of relevant financial accounting experience in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coach a large accounting team to meet month-end close and reporting deadlines.
• Review complex workpapers, reconciliations and consolidation schedules; ensure GAAP compliance.
• Provide hands-on guidance on inventory accounting, costing, and intercompany activities across entities.
• Oversee internal controls, financial reporting processes and external audits.
• Manage offshore accounting team and coordinate with onshore staff for close and reporting.
