Job summary

Barton College is seeking a proactive Admissions Events Coordinator to plan and execute campus visits, open houses, and recruitment events. You will supervise the Student Ambassador Program and serve as the on‑site liaison with students, families, and school partners.

Strong communication, organization, and CRM skills (Slate/Jenzabar) are essential, with willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed. This role supports the Office of Admissions and Student Engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Familiarity with Slate CRM and Jenzabar preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite; Canva design experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interact at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute campus visits and events from start to finish.
• Oversee the Student Ambassador Program.
• Communicate with students/parents about visits and admissions requirements.
• Collaborate with faculty/staff to plan events and advertise campaigns.
• Track and report event data and improve processes.
• Travel independently for consecutive nights as needed; work weekends/evenings.
