Wichita State University’s Barton School Student Success Center seeks a recruitment coordinator to guide prospective undergraduate students through enrollment. You will manage recruitment territories, represent Barton at events, and build trust with families while using CRM to track data and convert interest into applications.
The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work evenings and weekends during peak periods, with on-site duties at the Wichita campus.

Pay: Range $39,700/yr, adjusted based onqualifications
Work Schedule: General business hours; Evenings regularlyduring recruitment season & a couple of wknds in the year; workis performed on-site and in person.

Someone who gets recharged by talking with others, variety in whatthey do, and measurable results with ownership over those. You maycome from admissions, recruitment, student services, sales,outreach, or another role where relationships and follow-throughmatter. Organization is the other side of the coin that you mustprosses to be successful though.
You can speak with students and families, work with counselors andpartners, manage events, use data, and stay organized across manyconversations at once. You don't wait for students to find Barton,you go where they are, build the connection, make it feel real tothe student & families, follow up at the right time, and helpBarton be seen as their next step.
Collaborates with faculty and staff in a specific college,department, program or specific focal area to coordinate and expandstudent recruitment efforts. Serves as the coordinator for schoolsand organizations that align with the recruitment strategy. Alignsscholarship resources with recruitment goals. Coordinatesscholarship competitions and promoted scholarship opportunities toqualified students.
Represents specific University colleges, departments or programs atspecified schools, college and community fairs, publicpresentations, and/or seminars. Participates in on and off campusrecruitment programs, including group presentations; greets walk-inand scheduled visitors; maintains knowledge of all facets of theUniversity. May develop, coordinate and execute all aspects ofevent planning for recruitment and scholarships to facilitateeffective presentation of programs or events. Coordinates withrelated departments to facilitate recruitment, outreach, and/ormarketing of related programs and services. May lead staff in thedesign and implementation of communications and educationalcontent. Monitors scholarship compliance with program rules andregulations, provides status updates, and monitors student academicprogress as required. Identifies, promotes and targets scholarshipsto eligible students. Collaborates with University staff andstudents to foster academic success.
Event planning & full execution - AGH scholarship
Plan, organize & inform all team members of the event yearly.This includes participants, catering, venue & other aspectsneeded for a successful event to occur.
