Job summary

University of Central Florida is seeking a Facilities Project Manager II to coordinate design and construction efforts for minor projects in alignment with the university’s schedule, program, and budget.

The role involves leading development of projects, managing organization, scheduling, and representing section leadership as needed. A Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience is required, with PMP/CCM preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing and coordinating design and construction projects with contractors, architects and engineers.
• Proven ability to develop, review, and manage project budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all project aspects with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Support sustainability initiatives related to new construction and renovation projects.
• Develop and review project estimates, bids, and GMPs.
• Administer and oversee payments to designers and contractors.
• Manage project schedules across all phases from design to close-out.
• Mentor Project Manager I and support their development.
