Job summary

University of Central Florida is seeking a skilled Facilities Project Manager II to coordinate design and construction of minor projects on campus. You will oversee planning, direction, and management of project activities, working with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure schedules, programs, and budgets align with university goals.

The role involves budget development, schedule management, and collaboration with campus committees to meet university standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: PM-related licenses/certifications (PMP, CCM) or relevant degree.
• Experience coordinating design and construction projects with contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all project aspects, including contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Develop and manage project budgets and cost-tracking reports.
• Prepare and review change orders, bids, and GMPs.
• Administer payments to designers and contractors.
• Develop, implement, and revise project schedules to meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior project managers and support staff.
