Job summary

City University of New York – Kingsborough Community College is seeking a Construction Project Manager Level 3 to supervise planning, execution, and completion of capital projects and campus renovations. The role reports to the Vice President of Finance and Administration, coordinating with DASNY and internal partners.

Responsibilities include developing project scopes, managing budgets, schedules, and documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety and university standards.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or higher with relevant experience in planning, administering, or expediting design/construction of educational facilities.
• Substitutions allowed: AA with 4 years of experience; BA with 2 years; BA in architecture with 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of capital building projects and renovations.
• Lead development of project scopes for internally managed capital and infrastructure initiatives.
• Coordinate with Buildings and Grounds and Information Technology to oversee project execution and budget/schedule accountability.
• Support capital planning and prioritization aligning investments with college priorities.
• Coordinate project documentation, approvals, milestones, and stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle.

Education

Four-year high school diploma (NY state)

Associates degree in engineering/related field

Baccalaureate degree in engineering/landscape architecture or related field
