The Association of Fundraising Professionals - NYC Chapter is seeking a Senior Manager of Campaigns and Events to drive signature campaigns, major events, and donor partnerships in support of our mission. This is a full-time, primarily remote role and reports to the Vice President of Development.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, the board, and cross-functional teams to elevate fundraising impact and visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree a plus but not required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in nonprofit event management, fundraising campaigns, development, or external relations with a proven track record of revenue growth.
• Demonstrated success managing complex campaigns and signature events from ideation through budget management, execution, and evaluation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals and sponsor decks.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and peer-to-peer fundraising platforms.
• Enjoys cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors, corporate sponsors, and institutional partners.
• Preference for candidates based in the NYC metropolitan area to facilitate local event execution and donor meetings.

Responsabilités

• Campaigns and Individual Giving: Campaign Management - Develop and execute an annual multi-channel campaign strategy to drive revenue, donor acquisition, and public awareness.
• Campaigns and Individual Giving: Performance Tracking & Analytics - Set measurable goals; use data insights to optimize tactics.
• Campaigns and Individual Giving: Individual Giving Pipeline - Leverage campaigns and signature events to expand the individual giving program.
• Campaigns and Individual Giving: Donor & Sponsor Messaging - Draft appeals, proposals, reports, and impact updates across channels.
• Events and External Relations: End-to-End Event Execution - Own strategy, design, marketing, and execution of high-impact in-person and virtual events.
• Events and External Relations: Logistics & Success Metrics - Manage outreach, production logistics, vendors, budgets; track attendance and revenue.
• Events and External Relations: Donor & Partner Stewardship - Engage major donors, corporate sponsors, institutional partners via tailored outreach and briefings.
• Events and External Relations: Brand Ambassadorship - Build warm introductions; represent TAP at meetings and convenings.
• Data and Operations: Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with Marketing to align sponsorship decks and collateral.
• Data and Operations: CRM & Data Hygiene - Use Salesforce and related platforms for prospect management, segmentation, and reporting.
• Data and Operations: Budget & Revenue Operations - Build and track budgets; provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations.
