Job summary

Wellesley College seeks a Senior Director of Campaign Planning and Management to lead the planning, coordination, and reporting for the college's multi‑year comprehensive campaign. This exempt, administrative role reports to the Vice President for Development and focuses on systems, timelines, and governance rather than frontline fundraising.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi‑year development campaigns and coordinating complex programs.
• Ability to develop and manage campaign plans, timelines, and benchmarks.
• Strong skills in reporting progress to leadership and the Board.

Responsibilities

• Campaign Planning and Management: develop and maintain high‑level campaign timelines and detailed project plans with milestones and owners.
• Day‑to‑Day Campaign Management: plan, implement, and manage the development work across the campaign.
• Volunteer Leadership and Trustee Engagement: staff committees, engage trustees and volunteers, track time and commitments.
• Campaign Progress and Board Reporting: monitor progress relative to goals and prepare reports for leadership and the Board.
• Institutional Partnership and Professional Practice: align fundraising materials and relationships across campus; stay current with best practices.
• Supervisory Responsibilities: coordinate activities and support campaign volunteers.
