SEIU Local 2015 is seeking a Coordinator to lead program and campaigns across California’s long term care sector, empowering workers to raise standards and defend rights.

The Coordinator will provide leadership to staff and members, coordinate multi-geography campaigns, and work with diverse communities to advance union priorities, including growth, politics, and member engagement. Travel and long hours are a norm for this role, with a valid California driver’s license required.

Formación

• 5+ years of union or community organizing experience.
• 2+ years leading large staff teams across multiple geographies.
• Ability to exercise a high level of judgment with elected leaders in complex political and local union situations.
• Experience creating and executing field/organizing campaigns, including leading teams and budgeting.
• Experience leading bargaining and/or new worker organizing campaigns.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain accurate program data and use it to guide decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, supervise, assign, and evaluate staff, developing work plans and oversight.
• Create, execute and evaluate strategic field plans and campaigns across geographies and industries.
• Develop campaign budgets and oversee office administration, including expenditures.
• Build high-performing industry, regional and campaign teams; oversee personnel functions.
• Collaborate with local union departments to align priorities with organizing, bargaining, representation, and political engagement.
• Demonstrate SEIU Local 2015 core values: leadership, compassion, empowerment, accountability, transparency and excellence.
• Other duties as assigned.
