Flint Hills Resources (FHR) is currently seeking a Strategic Buyer to join our Procurement team!

Our Team

The Strategic Buyer will report to a Procurement Operations Supervisor, and be based at our headquarters in Wichita, KS. This role will require the ability to travel 10-15% of the time.

What You Will Do

Partner with the procurement team to support internal and external customers

Analysis and processing of purchase orders

Purchase order and invoice exception review

Collaborate with vendors for long lead items

Maintain strong relationships with vendors through verbal and written communication

Participate in both Simple and Tactical Sourcing

RFP support and analysis

Perform minimal contracting tasks

Contribute to a strong team environment with individual and team goals
