Job summary

Valbruna Group USA in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Buyer / Warehousing Coordinator to purchase materials, manage inventory, and support warehouse operations. The role works with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely availability of parts and accurate records.

You will create POs, obtain supplier quotes, manage receiving, cycle counts, and stock organization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory, warehousing, materials management or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with purchasing/inventory systems or the metals industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews purchase requisitions for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Creates and processes purchase orders for materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
• Obtains and evaluates supplier quotations as needed.
• Compares pricing, specifications, availability, and delivery dates for decisions.
• Communicates with suppliers on pricing, product information, availability, and delivery.
• Expedites materials for late deliveries and backorders when necessary.
• Maintains purchasing records and related documentation.
• Receives, inspects, counts, stores materials; verifies against PO/receiving docs.
• Issues materials to employees and maintains inventory records.
• Maintains storeroom organization and conducts cycle counts.
• Coordinates with Maintenance, Production, Quality, Accounting to resolve needs.
• Resolves delivery, quality, and invoice issues promptly.
