Job summary

Valbruna is seeking a Shipping Clerk to coordinate material flows and shipments in our Indiana facility. You will ensure accurate, timely delivery by managing loading, records, and shipments to internal departments and customers.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, basic computer skills (ERP/Excel), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain it is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Wayne, IN.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse/shipping/receiving or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including ERP and Excel.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of material in/out of warehouse and Shipping to other departments.
• Oversee outgoing shipping activities for accuracy, completeness, and condition.
• Inspect loading operations for compliance with shipping specs; seal loaded boxcars and trucks.
• Compile records of unfilled orders.
• Negotiate rates for best pricing.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
• Communicate shipping data to CSR and customers.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA guidelines and company procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits; keep logs organized.
