Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in the southeast Twin Cities metro region is seeking an experienced Buyer to join a growing team. This role focuses on supporting purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory needs, and overall supply chain operations.

You will manage purchasing of materials, coordinate purchase orders, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and cost-efficiency. This position offers growth opportunities and exposure to multiple areas of the business.

Qualifications

• Prior purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Experience working with vendors and suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of materials, components, and supplies.
• Issue and manage purchase orders.
• Work closely with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and material availability.
• Identify and resolve supplier and purchasing issues.
• Partner with operations, planning, engineering, and other internal teams.
• Track supplier performance and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and ERP/MRP data.
