Job summary

Enjet Aero is seeking a Buyer to manage purchasing for direct materials and negotiate terms with suppliers. The role supports MRP schedules, reviews contracts, and drives cost/value for the company.

The Buyer will work with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to identify new suppliers and ensure on-time delivery from on-site facilities in Connecticut. APICS CPIM or CPM certification is preferred, and ERP experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• APICS CPIM or Purchasing CPM certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).
• Proficient in MRP, BOM structures, Shop-Floor Control, Configuration Management, and Warehouse Operations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate purchase price, lead times, and terms with suppliers.
• Place and manage Purchase Orders to support MRP material requirements.
• Review contracts and drive best value for the company.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to source materials.
