Job summary

States Manufacturing, based in the Twin Cities metro, is seeking a procurement professional to coordinate the purchase of goods and services. You will process purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and maintain ERP systems to support production schedules.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in business and 3–4 years in sourcing or purchasing, with strong Excel and ERP experience. This role offers growth in a stable, growing manufacturing environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business and/or 3 to 4 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, or purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase orders to meet production schedules and update ERP accordingly.
• Review requisitions for completeness, accuracy, and approval; ensure input to system.
• Ensure efficiency of processes for outside service suppliers, including lead times and documentation.
• Maintain ERP parameters to meet inventory strategies and forecast supplier demand.
• Monitor shipments to ensure on-time arrivals and trace delays.
• Communicate delays and set plans to resolve delays.
• Work with suppliers to address discrepancies in quantity, quality, and delivery.
• Participate in supplier selection, transitions, performance measures, and supply chain projects.
