Job summary

The Boring Company seeks a procurement professional in Bastrop to develop efficient, cost-effective purchasing solutions for tunneling operations. You will manage supplier relationships, estimate costs, and drive systems that improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include processing PO's, coordinating deliveries, sourcing critical items, and resolving invoice issues while ensuring timely rentals and inventory control for the Bastrop site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
• Preferred: degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or similar discipline.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Work with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective tunneling solutions.
• Create comprehensive cost estimates to inform decisions.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and negotiate contracts in Bastrop.
• Assist in developing purchasing systems to improve efficiency.
• Process all purchase orders and coordinate delivery logistics for Bastrop operations.
• Source critical items and manage rentals to maximize utilization.
• Resolve supplier invoice issues and monitor inventory counts.
