Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Buyer/Planner for our Phillipsburg, NJ site to manage production planning, master schedule creation, and material requirements planning. You will coordinate with sourcing, production, quality, distribution, and customer service to ensure on-time delivery, maintain inventory control, and optimize costs.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in supply chain or related field, 3–5 years of production planning experience, and familiarity with SAP/MRP.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in supply chain management or related field.
• 3–5 years in production planning.
• APICS/ASCM certification a plus.
• Experience SAP for planning/material movement preferred.
• Regulated environment (cGMP/ISO/FDA) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop master production schedule and 4-week detailed schedule.
• Coordinate production schedules and material orders; communicate plans across the organization.
• Monitor and adjust schedules to meet demand and optimize costs.
• Issue SAP process orders and track operations performance.
• Back up other Planners/Schedulers across North America as needed.
