Tecomet, Inc. is seeking a Buyer and Planner to procure materials and develop production plans that align with demand, safety, quality, and on-time delivery objectives. The role emphasizes MRP usage, master data integrity, and inventory optimization while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in planning/procurement, a BS degree (APICS a plus), and strong Excel/ERP skills to drive efficient scheduling and cost reductions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in planning/procurement.
• 3+ years in Planning and Procurement.
• Experience with modern ERP systems.
• Production scheduling to manage open orders.

Responsabilidades

• Use MRP to perform procurement activities.
• Maintain part master data and drive MRP decisions.
• Plan operations from PO receipt to shipping.
• Maintain optimal inventory and pursue reductions.
• Create production plan and capacity/load schedules.
• Place POs according to forecast and trends.
• Identify shortages and coordinate with vendors to prevent them.
• Provide PO acknowledgments and forecast information to vendors.
• Investigate late lines and implement corrective actions.
